Role Summary

Preciouscare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and deliver high-quality nursing care for older adults and clients requiring specialised support. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing safe clinical standards, accurate documentation, and excellent care outcomes as we commence operations in Oyo State.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day delivery of nursing services.

• Deliver and supervise person-centred nursing care, ensuring high clinical standards.

• Conduct nursing assessments, implement care plans, and review progress regularly.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and record-keeping (manual and electronic).

• Support the onboarding, mentoring, and development of nursing and caregiving staff.

• Promote quality improvement, safe practice, and adherence to clinical protocols.

• Uphold Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), Health & Safety, and safeguarding standards.

• Provide appropriate clinical guidance to clients and families within professional scope of practice.

• Work collaboratively with management and relevant professionals to support service planning and delivery.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by management or clinical leads.

Requirements (Essential)

• Registered Nurse qualification (RN / BNSc).

• Must be fully and properly registered to practise as a nurse in Nigeria (not an auxiliary nurse).

• Valid practising licence (current).

• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification nursing experience (excluding clinical postings).

• Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication, and sound documentation skills.

• Proficiency in report writing and basic computer use.

Desirable

• Experience in elderly care, long-term care, dementia care, palliative care, or community/home care.

• BLS certification (ACLS is an added advantage).

• Prior exposure to electronic medical or care documentation systems.
