Role Summary

Preciouscare is recruiting Healthcare Support Workers (Caregivers) to provide compassionate, respectful, and reliable support for older adults in both residential and home-based care settings. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caring for others and committed to learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility.

• Offer companionship and emotional support, ensuring clients feel safe, respected, and valued.

• Support safe movement and transfers, and help reduce risks of falls and injury.

• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the supervising nurse or care lead.

• Follow individual care plans, routines, and safety guidelines carefully.

• Support basic wellbeing activities that encourage social interaction, mental stimulation, and mobility.

• Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and safeguarding standards at all times.

• Complete daily care records and documentation accurately.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience is an advantage but not compulsory.

• Applicants without prior experience must demonstrate a clear willingness to learn and availability for training.

• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

• Good communication skills (spoken and written).

• A compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.

• Willingness to work shifts, including day and night duties.
